Meridian is a full-service, private aviation company based at Teterboro Airport (KTEB) in Bergen County, NJ, located just minutes from New York City. Over the years, we have earned numerous industry awards and accolades for our world-class service and state-of-the-art facility. We cater to a wide variety of private aviation needs because we own and operate businesses that include Aircraft Management, Aircraft Maintenance, Air Charter, and a luxurious Executive Terminal / FBO that was completed in 2006.
The historical roots of Meridian originated in 1946 when company founder and former WWII test pilot, Ken Forester, Sr., began operating a terminal for executive aircraft. Incorporated in 1958 as General Aviation Company, today’s Meridian was one of the early pioneers of private aviation in the New York City market. Today, the company is led by Ken Forester, Jr., making Meridian the longest continuously operating aviation services company in the New York Metropolitan Area, and the only independently-owned aviation company at Teterboro Airport.
If you need to re-fuel or require other FBO services, then Meridian Teterboro is a “must visit” when flying into the New York Metropolitan Area. Our FBO/Executive Terminal continues its reign among the top FBOs in the nation. This year marks the fourth straight year that Meridian has been awarded the #1 spot among Best US FBOs in the 2013 Pilots’ Choice Awards
from FltPlan.com. In addition, exceptional FBO rankings in 2013 AIN FBO Survey
and 2013 Professional Pilot PRASE Survey
have once again placed Meridian as the highest ranking FBO at Teterboro Airport.
When you are here, you will be greeted by our experienced and friendly Customer Service Representatives. Among our team of CSR professionals is Betsy Wines, who for the 15th year, has been ranked as the #1 Best FBO CSR in ProPilot Magazine. She is joined in the category’s Top 5 by teammate Victor Seda. Meridian is proud to be the only FBO to have two employees honored in this category, now for the 7th year in a row.
